Romania anti-corruption communication's strategy
A programme of consultancy work started with a project in Romania, under the auspices of an EU funded/UK led project. The Basel Institute on Governance led a component designed to update the communication strategy of the Ministry of the Interior’s Anti-Corruption Directorate (AGD). A workshop on EU best practices in anti-corruption communications and communication policy in crisis situations was held in September 2008. Furthermore, the communication strategy of the AGD was redrafted. A second workshop was held in November 2008. Additionally, workshops on asset recovery techniques were organised in Bucharest in May 2009.
