Applied research and policy advice on global governance. Associated with the University of Basel, the Basel Institute on Governance conducts applied research to generate relevant information for better implementation of policies. The Institute strongly supports partnerships and networks between researchers and practitioners as well as offers advice on the development and implementation of public policies to increase accountability and responsiveness of the public sector. Based on a context-sensitive and inclusive approach, the Centre for Governance and Anti-Corruption supports the design and implementation of national and sector-specific anti-corruption strategies and processes.
