Katrin Aegler Stadelmann holds a diploma in bookselling, a BA in English and History from the University of York and a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. Past work experience includes working for various bookshops in Basel and Zurich as well as teaching English as a foreign language in Switzerland, the UK and Ireland.
Before joining the International Centre for Asset Recovery, she was Personal Assistant to Mark Pieth (President of the Board) at the Faculty of Law of Basel University for five years, where she had the opportunity, amongst many other things, to gain quite extensive knowledge of a complicated network in the area of governance, criminal law and international organisations as well as in-depth experience of academic publication processes in English and German. Katrin is bilingual in German and English and fluent in French and Spanish.
