As the official platform of the United Nations Global Compact in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein seeks to "promote responsible business practices by stimulating multi-stakeholder dialogue, providing knowledge, tools and mutual learning for businesses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to engage in corporate responsibility and sustainability."

The Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein has long been an active supporter of Collective Action to solve shared corruption challenges and raise standards of business integrity. This is in line with the UNGC's strong support for anti-corruption Collective Action under its 10th Principle, and the inclusion of Collective Action in the UNGC Strategy 2021–2023 to promote responsible and sustainable business in general.

As part of this work, the local Network engages in the Action Platform for Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, a forum for policy dialogue between governments, businesses, the UN and civil society to improve standards of accountability, integrity and transparency within businesses and the countries where they operate.
