The Public Governance team of the Basel Institute on Governance has contributed an entry to the recent Public Administration Review's Blog Symposium dedicated to the topic of corruption. The title of the entry is "Informal networks: the invisible drivers of corruption and implications for anti-corruption practice".

This exciting new issue format for the journal aims to bring together a chorus of voices who are exploring innovative ways to "re-think" corruption studies and draw out implications for anti-corruption practice. The team's contribution explores how informal networks drive corrupt behaviours, the power of sociality, informal governance among elites and more. Much of the research upon which the entry draws is available on the Basel Institute's informal governance website.
