Collective Action Hub
Bringing together businesses and other stakeholders to tackle corruption
Collective Action is a collaborative approach to addressing shared corruption challenges. It brings together diverse stakeholders from across society to achieve common goals, such as:
- raising standards of integrity and fair competition across industries locally and worldwide
- developing best practice self-regulatory standards within specific industry sectors
- solving systemic issues related to bribery and corruption
- enhancing conditions for fair competition and levelling the playing field between competitors
Since the Basel Institute’s inception, we have facilitated multiple Collective Action initiatives and provided expert advice to governments, companies, business associations, NGOs and multi-stakeholder groups worldwide.
A free resource centre and helpdesk offering a range of anti-corruption publications, tools, and a database of over 280 Collective Action initiatives and projects from around the world.

Collective Action Conference
Every two years, we organise the only global conference dedicated to advance Collective Action. It gathers leaders from business, civil society, government and academia who are strongly committed to making markets fairer and more transparent.
The focus remains on what Collective Action looks like in practice, the factors that drive its success and how multi-stakeholder approaches help organisations respond more effectively to global business challenges.
