The central objective of the Committee is to provide a platform for public and private sector representatives to discuss potential improvements in areas such as procedures, processes, systems, and risk assessments, as well as to share the results of studies or proposals to improve trade facilitation and transparency in Customs management.

This initiative brings together the four leading firms in the metals technology industry for the exchange of best practice and knowledge in anti-corruption compliance and fair competition and related developments within the industry.

MTI is facilitated by the Basel Institute on Governance, which leads and organises meetings of the top compliance management of the four member companies, providing agendas, minutes, substantive contributions and benchmarking of elements of the companies' compliance programs.

This Collective Action initiative aims to support companies in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) to work collectively to proactively manage risks, promote integrity and safeguard their businesses, through a shared commitment to business ethics.

This initiative brings together companies to promote transparency and integrity through the signing of an agreement and provides a space for companies to report on the actions that they undertake to address corruption risks. It features three main components:

The aim of the project is to influence the behavior of business leaders, government representatives and students across the Gulf Region. It works through education and incentivization, and by building a local community that is sharing good integrity practices, leading the way in the implementation of better standards, and actively encouraging others to do so. The project is developing practical tools to be implemented by companies, particularly first-time adopters of such higher levels of integrity and transparency.

The project has three key objectives:

The WU Global Tax Policy Center (GTPC) at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business launched and ran the Tax and Good Governance Project from 2015-2018.

The project identified links between corruption, the lack of business and political integrity and tax crimes. It promoted the concepts of good tax governance and the importance of a corrupt-free and transparent tax system in achieving economic development. It also covered how law enforcement agencies and tax authorities can cooperate to counter corruption and bribery.

Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) have become important players in the process of promoting transparency and fair markets. To strengthen anti-corruption initiatives in China, the project made available the expertise of German BMOs (German chambers of commerce and sectoral associations and their umbrella associations such as DIHK, BDI, etc.) and their members, in combination with the expert network of GIZ GmbH and sequa gGmbH.
